LOSS OF NUMBER AFTER CONTRACT ENDED

On 28 December 2012 my contract came to an end with Autopage and i phoned in advance saying that i would not like to renew the contract. I phoned & got a reference number from Autopage so that i could keep my cell number and be switched to prepaid. The next day they disabled my sim and instead of giving my cell number back (that i have had for 10 years) they put it back into the "pool" to be recycled & used by someone else. So now when you call my cell number a gentleman in LIMPOPO picks up!! Autopage dont want to take responsibility and for 3 weeks i have fought with them. My bank details and accounts are all linked to my cell number so i was a sitting duck that couldnt use my bank card as the gentleman in Limpopo receives an sms everytime i purchase something and sees my bank balance. I will never go back to Autopage!! The matter is still not resolved.
