Mobile hotspot feature

I have been a customer with the service provider in question since they got on the market, bought a ipad 3rd generation with the mobile hotspot feature and after discovering with the other service providers in South Africa who offer this feature on the same ipad, I called in the call centre for 8ta and so disappointed that they offer this service with the iPhone only. I use my ipad and MacBook to connect to the Internet via 8ta and to upgrade applications but this is no longer possible as the feature has been taken off intentionally byi the service provider. I asked the call centre agent if this is 8ta's way of saying to its clients " buy an iPhone to b able to use this feature "

Hope they will respond on this issue cause I find it unjust to cut other users of IOS devices features such as these as they come part of the package and Apple brand. This is a ill business practice on the side of the service provider.
