My wife had a contract up for renewal and elected to port to Cell C from Vodacom. Given the new pricing and the positioning by Alan Knott Craig we thought lets give it a try. The worst decision ever!
We took out a contract with the Blackberry Z10. Its now 1 month and the phone has been problematic since day 1 to the extent that its not usable. She has been to the Cell C store in Cresta and their response is that they cannot help! They had the audacity to tell her to go to a independent small cellphone outlet in Cresta and the guy mentioned that he was willing to do a software upgrade and whatever else was needed but that the warranty would be voided. Why would Cell C not want to help you and then refer you to a non Cell C store! We went with Cell C as we felt that we would have the support of a warranty as we had with Vodacom.
In fact when we my wife was at the store the lady asked a gentlemen if he could help her and his response (in vernacular which my wife understands) was that he doesn't have time to help her!! Its disgusting, shocking and downright disturbing.
