Mtn
International roaming a laugh

Good day

On the 8th April I activated international roaming on my phone in-store. The consultant told me it will now work fine, and that as I have a Blackberry I should turn off Data services while roaming. When I crossed the boarder yesterday into Swaziland, I turned the data service off. Later I realised that I had no signal in Mbabane where I was conducting business and needed to make phone calls. I turned data service on and off to see if that worked, but no luck. I did select Swazi-MTN as the network while I was there.

I have just spoken to MTN customer care and told them this story, and they say sorry, it is active there's nothing they can do. So now what must I do? Climb up onto the highest mountain and search for signal from South Africa? Surely there IS something MTN CAN do, besides saying they cant do anything. And worst of all, Swaziland only has MTN there.

Please can someone sort this out, as I am constantly in and out of the country and need roaming to actually work, and not just have the computer say it is active!
