CellC modem not connecting to the internet

My modem was not connecting to the internet. I took it to Cellc midrand (boulders) where i bought it. The lady assisting me (Rezelle) explained that they will the modem and send me a quote. if i reject the quote, I will have to pay R100 and if I wanna buy a new modem, I will have to pay R649 while I bought it for R500 with 3G data. I tried asking questios so I can understand why I have to pay more for the modem only, Instead of answering me, she had this attitude and started greeting and talking to people with stuff that had nothing to do with my problem.
