My MTN contract was coming to an end and so i shopped around for an iPhone contract; Cell C came out head and shoulders above the rest in terms of value for money. I sat with Mpho at the Cell C Sandton city. Mpho advised me on what contract to take and etc and said he would email me the next day to verify the stock situation and to confirm that porting would take place on the day I specified. A week passed with no contact, i then got hold of Mpho and asked him what the story was, he asked for my bar code number of my phone. He hadn't given me a phone! So he asked me to come in and collect it. When doing that, i figured out that Mpho had not given me the best advice on what contract to take and that it was more cost effective to go for a smaller package and pay the per second billing.. I confirmed my final contract date with MTN ad Mpho said that all the rest would be taken care of. I gave notice to MTN, I confirmed with Cell C that all was ready for porting. It is now the 23rd and my number still has not ported, i was advised that i am not RICA'ed. Someone please help!!! I see many complaints here about MPho, what's the reaction? Frustrated.
