During early march i visited the Telkom direct shop in Centurion, with the intention of purchasing an internet package. i was informed of the package for R199 a month for 10g which i wanted to purchase.i was not told about the ALL the required documents needed for this contract in my first visit. i was only told of a copy of my ID and a utility bill.i was not informned of 6 months bank statements and pay slip. i went 3 times and was turned back each time. on my fouth visit, Friday- 12 April 2013, i had all my necessary documents but i was informed that the offer of R199 had ended.why was i not informed of all the criterias required on my first visit? instead i was encountered with staff that were only interested in getting rid of me, chewing gum, talking to other staff members and more interested with their cellphones. at no point of my numerous visits was i informed that the offer will end 1st of April. i feel that it is unfair that due to Telkoms incompetent staff i am forced to take a contract that exeeds my budget. telkom direct does not have the ability to satisfy their customers and employ incompetant people. i am very unhappy with telkoms service.
