Incompetent and crooked

Written termination of contract 3 months in advance - they acknowledge receipt.
I miscalculated final payment by R100 - my fault and I acknowledge that.
They made one phone call to tell me that the contract would continue - and that was to leave a voice mail. The voice mail was left after hearing that I was overseas and would not be picking up voicemails - they acknowledge that.
No further attempt to contact me was made, and I never received the voice mail so had no idea I had short paid or that the contract was continuing. No call to any of the alternate numbers they had, nor email to either of the two addresses they had.
I am now being sued for the full amount of a contract I had no idea was running - a contract that was never ever used again after the initial termination date. Numerous attempts to phone and numerous emails have been ignored, there is NO person you can even talk to. They are corrupt and incompetent, a dangerous combination.
