In February 2013 I took in my Blackberry 8520 in for repairs at the Telkom store in Randburg. The guy who took my phone told me I would receive an sms that states that the phone is ready for pick up and then I should only come and pick it up after 4 days of receiving the sms.
He did not mention anything about the guarantee or fees of that sort. Two weeks later I get a call from the Repairs dept saying the phone is out of guarantee therefore I should pay R885 to get the phone fixed, I asked them not to fix it but just return it as it. Later i get an sms stating that I should pay R188.10 with the reference TEL016854 so that I can get my phone back. I was not told of this fee, because if i was I would have questioned it and try to find out what this fee is all about. The phones is not fixed and therefore I refuse to pay that money as I was not told before hand about it. 8ta has a tendency of being irresponsible when it comes to customer service, the customer needs to be told before hand regarding such things.
