I booked my Blackberry 8520, which is still on contract and under guarantee till end of February 2013, in for repairs approx 4 weeks ago at the Nashua Mobile Centre Clearwater Mall in Roodepoort. After 2 weeks I went to the branch on a Saterday to find out whether my phone has been sent for repair. A lady named Adele check the system and informed me that it was still with them and will be sent for repairs the Monday. A week later a Rose from Head Office technical department phoned me saying the phone will not be repaired as there is liquid damage and I must pay R1500 to have it fixed or they send it back, to which I immediately said it is nonsense as the phone was in perfect working order, only the scroll button didnt work. Today, 21 February 2013 I phoned spoke to Karin she informed me that the phone is in their safe and will not be fixed due to the liquid damage report sent by the technician, but she will send it back as I am positive that the phone never came near any liquid and that it is just their excuse not to fix my phone as the guarantee and contract expires at the end of this month. The phone never came into contact with any liquid while I had it
