Poor signal and unethical business practices

Ever since I upgraded my cellphone contract in early Feb, I'm having endless problems with my signal. It shows I'm on 3G, but no messages (bbm, whatsapp or sms) go through. Nor can I make a phonecall. I try taking my battery out, disconnecting from the network and reconnecting, but no success. It eventually comes back online an hour or so later.
I've tried to connect to the Vodacom network but it won't allow me to. On my previous phone/contract, I was able to do this. Now I'm stuck with Cell C's pathetic signal.
This, on top of my issue with their data contract ethics, are forcing me to consider moving to Vodacom, who appears to be far superior!
I haven't bothered to phone the call centre about this because their resolution and follow-up process is non-existent!! I have yet to get feedback about my data contract complaint! (Since March!!) Shocking!
The issue with my data contract was that I got them to set a cap on it last year and I received a bill this year that exceeded the cap by about R200! I was told that the disclaimer said its not accurate. I'd accept a few Rands over, but R200!? No! Clearly the cap was ignored (as I have) for their benefit!
