Incorrect advise to client

Client advised by a temp to purchase a data package and sim card for i pad for R 800.00. A month thereafter the card stpped working. We went to store that indicated that the temp should have informed us which she did not. On Saturday i purchased a new package and Sim with the promise that it will work on Saturday. I am in business in Stellenbosch without an activated card. It hasn't been activated yet, sorry. Who will refund my cost and who will be liable. I have contract with Vodacom for 14 years now for my familyof 4. Today is Monday already. Service pathetic in Centurion branch.
