No service, bad attitude

Entered into 2 x Vodacom 3G contracts about March 2012. Initially it worked 100%, but gradually the signal deteriorated to a point where reception/signal strength was extremely erratic and virtually non-existent. I complained to Autopage and was told it is not their problem, I have to approach Vodacom, which I did. Vodacom did some investigations, and found that the service/signal in this area is very poor, and provided their findings in writing. I visited Autopage Somerset Mall on 7 January, requesting cancellation. The female serving me was not interested in the Vodacom document, and just stated that the only way to cancel a contract is by prepaying the remainder of the contracts' terms. When I persisted with my request, she phoned "head office" & handed me the phone. I explained the no service problem to "May", who reiterated that the contracts can only be cancelled by me prepaying the remainder of the terms. I asked to speak to a manager, and she told me they are all busy, but she would escalate my request. On Friday 10 Jan I phoned Autopage Mall, and spoke to Raymond.
