I am a contract client and am annoyed at the fact that MTN did not inform their customers of the changeover from BIS to Blackberry Absolute. They maintain that sms's were sent out to all users however I did not personally receive an sms! Furthermore on the 24 March I loaded R59 airtime on my daughter's prepaid phone... five days later she informed me that her blackberry messages were not going through. I called 173 and was informed that for R59 she only receives 200MB of data and that it was depleted... If she wished to continue using blackberry messenger I had to purchase another 200MB for R59. I purchased another 200MB on the 31 March which was depleted by the 02 April... I do not understand how all this data could be utilised in only a matter of days. I called 173 hoping MTN would provide answers but they were not helpful at all. They implied that my daughter was probably downloading material and that this was depleting her bandwidth! I requested a detailed report on what her bandwidth was used for and was told to call 083 155. I called 083 155 and they told me it was not a billing query but a connectivity query and referred me back to 173. I need answers please!
