Physically impossible to reach any humans at Mtn

I have 2 prepaid Mtn data sim cards, 1 for iPad, 1 for laptop. Using the Mtnza keypad app for iPad, I recharged my laptop sim with data. Money promptly taken from my account, data not recharged. Then started the nightmare of trying to find out what's going on. (I live on a farm so can't pop into an Mtn shop). On the Mtn website's support section, you can instant chat with an agent, if available (they're not), or send your query and they will get back to you asap.. Over 2 days, I've sent several queries this way but sadly, it's not been possible for them to get back to me.
Over the same period, I've been trying to reach their pre-paid data call centre using 083173. You don't even get the option of being played some elevator music while holding. The automated voice just states: "All agents are currently busy, please call again later.", after which you are disconnected.
As much fun as it is sending these queries and repeatedly phoning and being cut off from their call centre, I'm still left without a product that I paid for. So tell me Mtn, can I do something to help you help me? Maybe some motivational words? Shall I recharge one of your staff's phones so they can contact me?
