I applied for a telkom line at the beginning of last month (March 2013) and a week later I decided not to go on with the application because I'm in the process of selling the property. I phoned Telkom and requested a refund of the amount I paid (R318.00) and I was informed to go to the 8ta/telkom shop in Eastgate which is close to my workplace.
I went there and was attended to by their unprofessional & unethical staff members. I requested my refund and they logged a call for me online. I was infomed that the refund would be ready within 3 days. TILL TODAY I'M WAITING FOR THAT REFUND, NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME, NO ONE IS SAYING ANYTHING.
This just shows me that it's a good thing I will not have a telkom line in my house because they are very quick when it comes to receiving the money, but when it comes to refunding the money - it becomes an issue for them.
TELKOM, I WANT MY REFUND - I AM DEMANDING IT BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE YOUR PREPAID LINE IN MY HOUSE, THEREFORE, REFUND MY MONEY BEFORE I TAKE LEGAL ACTION!!!
