POOR NETWORK COVERAGE

I recently took a data package with Cell C, this being for my iPad - I experienced connectivity issues since DAY 1 and I visited the Cell C outlet for assistance. The instore consultants were very considerate and helpful - they put in a username ('internet') on the APN settings and it connected to 3G immediately while in the mall, however, it did not connect while at home - this being in the same area as the mall. I get NO connection while at home even if I walk around in the complex, whereas, my 3G modem (another SP) for my laptop connects. It does however connect everywhere else! I went back to the outlet and they confirmed that it may be as a result of 'poor coverage' - I live in the Randburg CBD! why would I not have coverage. I have a 2GB bunlde - I only used 500MB in the passed month because of poor connectivity - the balance was forfeited!!! PLEASE HELP OR HAVE MY CONTRACT CANCELLED!!!
