Cell C
Unauthorised extension of contract

A 24 month contract of R99/month was suppose to end December 2012, then without any notice they just extended the contract and raised the fee to R220/month. I don't want this contract and the initial contract agreement was for a service offered to me for 24 months and I pay them for 24 months. Nothing less and nothing more.

If you would provide a service to someone and you sign a contract that you would provide it for 24 months, and that they would pay you for 24 months, you cannot keep on providing the service and expect them to pay for it. But just because telecommunication companies have debit order power over your account, they simply take the money for this service they were not asked to provide.

Ever thought of how many millions of rands they make off everyone's extra 2 or 3 months your account is debited after a contract expire or is cancelled, before they finally sort the "admin" out on their side?

When it comes to initiating the first debit order the "bad admin" is nowhere to be found, only when it comes to ending contracts. It is subtle sophisticated.

I had the same kind of issues with MTN and Vodacom, disappointing that Cell C is no different.
