I bought a Cell C speedstick from MWEB. I have been experiencing a "error 619" from 26/03/2013. I contacted Cell C who told me to reload my computer software because in his experience the modem does not work with windows 7. I suspected he was wrong and called MWEB. Its been a week now and still no technician is able to help. All they say is that Cell C is having outages and I must wait.
I cancelled my working Telkom ADSL line for this, and MWEB is giving me even worse service. I expect that their TV ad, poking fun at Telkom with the "on hold" music is just lip service and a marketing ploy. When I took out my MWEB contract on 22 Jan 2013, they had to send through the activation request more than once to get me going. I suspect they have overcharged me for my first months bill, and now this!
And now I'm stuck with 11 months to go on a contract that doesn't even work!!
MWEB, you are dreadful, and I'll take Telkoms dreadful service over yours anytime.
