Warranty (False info!)

Good day

My blackberry battery's warranty expired yesterday (24 March 2013). I went to a Vodacom shop yesterday, but they couldn't test my battery there and told me to take it to a Vodacom repair shop. The nearest repair shop is almost 300km away so they told me to take it today (25 March 2013) when I am back it Rustenburg and that it wouldn't be a problem and they will still exchange it. Today I took it to the repair shop in Rustenburg, they tested it and said that it is my battery but now they will not replace it because the warranty expired yesterday. What do you want me to do? Drive 300km yesterday just to get my battery tested and replaced? I was told that I could take it to the repair shop in Rustenburg today and now today its a problem. Once again your mistake becomes my problem.
