I moved from Hazyview Mpumalange and enjoyed super fast downloading speeds with sometimes 1 bar HSUPA. Now I have a signal strength of 2-3 bar and an extremely slow Internet connection even when connected on 3G HSUPA.
Sometimes it takes almost 20min just to open a simple Google Map with internet explorer.
This happens on 2 computers in the same room, ruling a faulty PC out of the question.
At times a connection will drop just as my wife leaves the room from her PC directly next to mine.
It took me more than 15 minutes today to send my complaint via email (6megs) with screen shots to Vodacom customer care.
I earn my living via my internet connection. Unfortunately I have 2 active contracts with Vodacom re my 3G. I simply cannot afford to pay an additional ADSL or satellite connection at this time, but that is not the point, I pay for a service which I am not getting and I cannot cancel the contract to go elsewhere.
Just last night they were advertising super fast speeds on TV. Technical staff was suppose to visit my premises to test the area, but I am still waiting after weeks of complaining. VODACOM!!!
