Sign new contract and not connected after a week

Signed a nashua contract on vodacome, 1stly the phone wasnt working (nokia lumia 920), they cant tell me wats wrong, says maybe its the phone. so i did some research on the web, found out it could be the sim card (didnt give me a new card compatible with 4g network when i signed) so went to a branch to get a sim swap.

NOW AFTER A WEEK I'VE USED UP ALL MY PRE-PAID AIRTIME AND IM STILL NOT CONNECTED AS A CONTRACT USER SO I BASICALLY HOLD A CAMERA IN MY HAND EVERYDAY.

plz someone help me, i've made a number of calls, but still on pre-paid...
the lady who singed me up, Karishma, is a great consultant, dont get me wrong here. but I NEED TO BE CONNECTED AS A CONTRACT USER
