I took out a contract with MTN which included a Compaq Laptop, 500MB Data and a Modem inclusive for R209. I took the contract 2 week in advance hoping to get the laptop by the 15 March 2013, when I went to collect, the consultant advised me that applications which was previously approved have suddenly been put on processing. I didn't mind waiting another day because I was assured that my package will be ready. Saturday (16 March 2013) I went to MTN the consultant says the application is still under processing. Monday (17 March 2013) I went back and the consultant still says that it is still processing, I didn't have the energy nor the patience to argue and convince him that my patience was running out. so I asked him to cancel the contract and that I will go elsewhere. He begged me to take the laptop and SAID he will print the receipt later, since he SAID I cant take the package home with me because the receipt couldn't get printed, I took it home. to my surprise!!! the sim card in the modem was not working at all! took it back yesterday (19 March 2013) and went to collect in now to find that this modem is NOT EVEN MINE, the IMEI numbers differ! this is pathetic SERVICE!!!
