Let me start out by saying that I am absolutely LIVID with Mtn. I bought a (expensive by all standards) 1gig data bundle to use on my contract phone. After enquiring after how much of the bundle I have left, I find that not only has the bundle been used up - with no notification(!!!) - but my bill is now astronomical because I've been charged the absurd per MB rates (I think its R2 per MB!).
WHY was I not sent a notification to inform me that the bundle had been used up? Other service providers do this! Or - they cut your internet off when your bundle runs up.
I have been a contract subscriber of Mtn for almost 10 years now. I am so angry and offended about what has now happened. I am going to go out of my way to cause a stir about this on social media.
And, needless to say, when my contract expires I will NOT be upgrading, I will change to a reasonable service provider and will advise everyone I know to do the same. If I could cancel my contract right now, that would be great.
I have already sent Mtn a complaint - no response of of yet but I have absolutely no faith in their customer service and do not even expect a response, really.
