I have been experiencing either intermittent connectivity or slow speeds at my current residence in Greenside for over 3 months now. Every time I speak to a consultant they tell me that the problem will be resolved and once it has been ''resolved'' the problem still persists.
In the most recent development I was told that my service had been restored and everything should work perfectly and to be honest it had to a degree been resolved. The only problem is that my speeds seem find between midnight and 11 am. Any times between that I cant even connect to gmail... In other words, I can't use the internet when I need it.
I have now been told that this is due to my exchange or DSLAM being congested. I have requested being moved to another DSLAM with no result as of yet. Highly frustrating.
On a final note, I understand that there are major upgrades happening all over the show but, Telkom as a company, should give more clarity to their infrastructure upgrade time lines. This would at least give their customers options on how to deal with the situation. At this point I dont know if it will take a week or a year to fix. It blow
