Telkom exchange destroying internet quality
My brand new ADSL connection is syncing perfectly at 4 megabit and has medium to low line attenuation yet I get a ping of over a second during the day which sometimes drops during the night allowing full throughput and 25ms ping to Cape Town, I have done full troubleshooting with MWEB with no joy, now waiting for another consultant to say that the problem needs to be escalated to telkom. I need this problem to be resolved because I am currently paying over R1000 a month for an internet connection which is crawling along and is no better than the wireless options I chose this over. I would like to have this resolved by Telkom sending a technician who is knowledgable in the DSLAM here so that we can get this resolved.
