Telkom congested exchange

Since the 1MB to 2MB ADSL upgrades in my area the ADSL exchange has been congested.

Others on the same exchange (Rondebosch WRBS) have the same problem after enquiring on the Mybroadband forum.

At peak hours the latency is over 300 - 1000 to websites, and download/gaming servers.

The internet becomes unusable and extremely slow. Download and upload speeds are heavily reduced rendering my service useless especially for gaming.

It has been like this since September and I pay full price for a faulty service.

I've had a Telkom technician at my residence to confirm.

The Telkom call centre denies me my right to enquire with regard to the exchange and DSLAM I'm connected to, if they're attempting to fix it and what the timeline is.
