Irregularities on Account and Information provided

Account number: 424295670001. On 12/2/2013 I phoned to cancel my telkom service (need to give 1 months notice). Ref: 72858880A. Effective date therefore 12/3/2013. Receive SMS on 12 Feb re: 24 contract on ADSL. Lodged dispute, number 26801369. July 2012 when Telkom came to install, my modem apparently not compatible. Went to Telkom store, told I am not on contract, had to pay cash for new modem? R800. Now that I want to cancel, Now I am apparently on contract - never signed any contract, not advised about any contract. Where does this come from? Told that when new account received, need to check whether I'm being charged for ADSL. Receive account today - I am being billed again from 12 March - 11 April when services supposed to be disconnected effective 12 March. What is Telkom going to do about this. I am tired of fighting with Telkom. No time or patience to phone in and speak to staff who cannot do anything promptly and accurately. Hello Peter needs to sort this out. I am not paying new account of R437.90 - Telkom service supposed to be disconnected 12 March. I am not aware of ADSL contract - not being held responsible for 24 months - paid my own modem.
