I upgraded my contract in August 2012 and opted for a Nokia Lumia. The screen blanked and it went in for repairs the entire month of October. I was given a 'new' phone that must have belonged to someone else before it was sent for repairs. The battery was faulty and it went in for repairs for the entire month of December. I received yet another 'new' phone which once again gave the same problem, and so the phone was sent for repairs during February and i have not seen it since. When I gave it in at the Gateway store I insisted the phone be replaced by a brand new one or a different phone altogether. The Manager who was not in the store on 22 February 2013 was left a note to call me on Monday, 25 February 2013. I have still not heard from her. All I received was an sms calling me a 'valued client' and informing me that my cellphone had been booked in at repairs. I am locked in a contract without a phone, a terrible breach of faith! I have been with Cell C for 17 years but never again! Believe me when i say that I am now venting my disgust in an attempt to be treated fairly or to dissuade unsuspecting customers.
