8ta had special on a WIFI Router contract. I applied & it was approved. i collected my sim & router on Sat 9 March 2013. on arriving home, i set up router & didnt work... no signal. i phoned 8Ta's helpline & was told they are doing upgrade maintenance on their systems until 6am Sunday, so they coulnt help.
I phoned Sunday morn 10am, & twice more on Sun, stil doing maintenance. i phoned Mon morning at 8.30 & was told my sim was registered. they went through settings with me, stil nothing. i phoned again Mon at 3pm, they tried to help & then i was told it is a sim fault, they will register a case, which will take 72hours. this took me to Thursday 3pm. stil nothing from them. I phoned them at 3pm & asked why i had not heard from them, they could not answer, case was logged. i then phoned 8ta Shelly Beach where i took out contract & Vuyi said she would look into it. Fri morn she phoned & said she will do a sim swop for me. Technician office phoned 1pm said they would phone Sat morn at 9 to arrange to send technician. I collected sim on Fri afternoon, connected to laptop & NOTHING! i phoned & was told they are having tower problems. it is sat night now, no call or visit from technician!
