I had to go over to another cell porvider as 8ta was dropping my calls. I would receive a sms stating that someone tried to call but my phone never even rang. I tried to test this myself and used my wifes phone (on vodacom) and called my number. With having 3 bars signal on my phone I called it and got to voice mail instantly. I tried resetting the phone but still the same. When a call does eventually come through I can hear the other party but they just get a staggered line on my side.
I also have the 8ta Internet 5 Promo and have 5 bars (89% signal) HSPA but the speeds I'm getting is well under 0.3Mbps. This has been going on for more than 2 months! I canceled the Night surfer addon and now it says I used up 8 Gigs of the account. This is hard to beleive since the connection is so slow I can hardly check my email or open the 8ta website.
