My wife is on a pre-paid mobile phone with MTN. She has never accessed the internet on her mobile but does have the facility.
Off recent she has noticed that her air time has been decreasing drastically. I tried to turn off all setting relating to the internet (3g, gprs etc etc), but the moneys still disappear.
I called mtn and they sated that we had subscribed to some called "celebrity videos" through a company called Opera. I was given the number by the mtn agent to call this company and cancel the subscription.
I called and the agent stated, that the subscription will be cancelled with immediate effect whch was yesterday 12/03/2013.
Moneys are still going off my wife's phone.
I tried calling the opera call center today, ...calls get cut and numbers are engaged.
This is a total, and there are hundreds of complaints on the internet with regard to this company.
Please action something. Apparently this guy/company is making millions on this.
Opera Interactive is run by oxygen 8, and the numbers given by mtn to call Opera is 0112185611, or 0839163089.
