Upgraded from BB 8900 to BB 9900 on the 3-6-2012, In Nov 2012 the phone was booked for repairs as it was not charging & it had rust on the battery contact pin. It was replaced with a refurbished one on the 28-11-2012, few days later it started to freeze again. 3-2-2013 the device was booked for repairs due to speaker malfunction; the caller would hear the loud static noise. I received a refurbished phone again on the 10-2-2013, a week later it started to reboot continuously and battery last only 3- 4 hours. When I opened the back cover, I realized that it started to develop rust on the battery contact pin like the one that was booked in for repairs in Nov 2012. 24-2-2013 I returned the device to the store & requested a new phone. On the 6-3-2013 manager informed me that device can't be replaced if I can't prove that the device that was booked for repairs in Nov 2012 was in the same condition as the current one. Now I'm stuck with a device that is not functioning as intended. These refurbished phones that MTN is giving to the customers are not quality goods at all, and this is day light to customers. I hope the investigation will be performed to address this issue.
