Vodacom
Lack of communication and accountability

On Monday 14th October 2013, I took my 5 month old Samsung S4 to the Cresta Vodacare shop.
The device was booked in for repairs and a loan phone issued.
Wednesday 16th October, I was advised to pick up the device as it had been repaired. Repairs done on the device:
o Battery replaced.
o Operating system upgraded.

On using the device I discovered that the device was in fact not working. After having tried multiple sim cards, I came to the realization that the device was not reading sim cards.
Thursday 15th, I took the device back to Vodacare Cresta, again the device was booked in for repairs and I was notified that it would be sent to the Midrand Head Office repair centre.
I requested the manager on duty to keep me informed of its progress as well as put priority on the repairs as the device is used for business purposes. This he assured me he will do and promised to call the next day to advise on the status.
No call came through from him the Friday.
Monday morning an email was sent to him requesting an update on the repair. No call was received as was expected from him.
Tuesday afternoon (22nd), I called the manager and he still did not have an update for me. What now???
