MTN has from the 14th February to 28th February and again for another 2 weeks beginning 1st March 2013 advertised a HTC desire X cell phone. I went to the MTN branch closest to me (Durban North Hypermarket) on the 3rd March, two days after the advert in the yello catologue, who told me that they didn't have this particular phone but they would try to source it for me from one of their branches. When I went back on the 5th March they hadn't been able to get hold of anyone at the branch (s) never mind get me the phone. As I have an existing contract with MTN which I opened with MTN Direct, I placed an order with them. and received confirmation, with reference & telephone number As I had not heard from anybody I phoned MTN Direct only to be told that they had no stock of "Hot Deal" HTC Desire x. Why didn't anybody bother to inform of this fact? Really disappointed with you MTN & believe your advert constitutes false advertising.
