To LTE or not to LTE

Early February I ordered a 3 gig top up package on the Vodacom online site, the call centre contacted me and I spoke to Josh, he convinced me that on the package it would be better to take the B2000 router as it is LTE and quicker and only 50 bucks a month more. I took it. The modem and all was delivered to my office on the 26 February. I needed to wait to 24 - 48 hours for activation and called a couple of times only to be told that it had not been submitted for activation. After running around and eventually having the line activated I have been told by one person that the LTE needs to be activated on the sim and another 3 people that LTE is not available on a top up. I tend to believe the LTE not on top up story. So a question how can a be sold a router that will not work with my contract and how are we going to fix this. I have about 2 hours spent at Cresta walkin trying to sort this out and about 8 or 9 calls to different numbers 111' 1945' 1940' 1950 I am still no closer to getting this sorted
