In August 2011, we applied for an ADSL line for our apartment in Mouille Point. The sales consultant on the phone mentioned that if we took a callmore package, the installation of the line would be free. We took the package. On our next months bill there was charge for "other" and when i queried it with Telkom, they said it was for line installation. I notified them that this amount was in dispute and requested the recording of the sales call (due to legal reasons - calls need to be recorded as proof of contract, as i did not sign any paperwork).
Since then, i have been fighting with Telkom to produce this sales call to either prove me wrong or right. I am willing to pay the original outstanding amount but not the interest because if telkom had responded when i asked for this recording, we would have had an outcome.
