Poor customer service

I'm very disappointed with Mtn's poor customer service. My phone was due for an upgrade, so I went into 2 stores to find out whether I could migrate to a different package. Both stores told me that I could not migrate yet until the end of my contract period (this is not true). I have now incurred extra charges because Mtn could not give me the correct information.

Also when I phoned Mtn to query these extra charges, they told me I could go in to a store to find out the information that I needed. When I got to the store, they told me they could not give me that information and that I would need to contact Mtn directly for that information (so no one knows what they are actually doing either). To top it all the lady on the phone was extremely rude too.

As a loyal customer I am very disappointed with the poor customer service that Mtn offers and really feel that the staff need to be trained better to know what their role is and how their system works.
