I used to be (although they still think I am) a relatively happy client of Neotel until we had to relocate to another town about 7 months ago. I contacted them via phone 9 months ago to inform them that I would be relocating and asked what options were open to me with regards to my contract as they don't cover this area we live in now. Email tennis commenced with now answer, while they still took the money out of my account every 3rd month after I stopped the debit order at the bank and informed them that I will not be paying for a service I don't use. All I wanted to know was how to stop my account and seeing that I did not really wanna stop my account with them (finding internet in South Africa is a painful process) and asked if my account could be put on hold until they cover this area. I finally received an email with the correct contact person. I contacted her in November 2012 and got a reply in January 2013 saying that my account has now been cancelled and I needed to pay a cancellation fee. Now all of a sudden I owe R1800 which they have taken out of my account twice. I contacted the accounts department and forwarded all emails. This month the same thing again. This is!
