Firstly let me mention i gave Cell C fair warning to resolve the issue before posting here.
In short two of my contracts expired several months ago and i went to Cell C Vincent Park to complete a form notifying them that i wish to cancell the contract once expired. Obviously i assumed this was the end of it. Earlier this month i receive a statement showing those contracts were never cancelled and they have billled me R2500.00 to date for contracts i no longer have!! I have phoned the Cell C offices several times and went as far as going down to Walmer branch but they say they have no record of this and that there is nothing they can do. So yesterday i phoned the Vincent branch where i filled out the notice of cancellation letter. The woman i spoke with couldnt find record of this letter and again was unable to assist. Every time i deal with someone they tell me they will get back to me and this has not happened once!!
If not mistaken the consumer act says no contract can be resumed without instruction from the client after a contract has expired. I refuse to leave this matter here!!
And what happened to the coffee at Cell C? Down the drain along with the service levels i guess.
