I recently opened a new account at MTN and was allocated the following cell nr:- 0605072307 - everything works fine BUTTT - I cannot access my voicemail - when I pnone 100 or even 111 I get silence followed by a recorded message:- THE VOICE MESSAGE SYSTEM IS UNABLE TO PROCESS YOUR CALL AT THIS TIME, PLEASE CALL AGAIN LATER. I contacted MTN customer care nr 808 on 15 Feb 2013 twice, 19 Feb three times, and 21 Feb three times. Each time the complaint was logged with technical services or I was requested to switch off the phone remove the battery and after some time switch on again.
When I endeavour to log the complaint on the MTN website it does not accept the cell number - stating that the number is not valid.
