With regard to my previous complaint about MTN and it's nasty agreement with dangerous VAS companies see: https:///mtn/complaints/mtn-harbouring-dangerous-vas-companies-1010013 .
It was admitted that a written agreement was made between MTN and certain WASP companies. However, as a client no such agreement to allow such companies any communication or service for a fee was offered to me, or requested from me. I was (I believe) by a company affiliated to a WASP that MTN "enabled" and allowed to bill me. When I request MY service provider, MTN, to investigate it, they refer me without hesitation to other organisations and ombudsman and no effort whatsoever is made on their part to verify the legitimacy of the WASP & it's affiliates alleged subscription from me.
I am being told to do my own investigations and follow up's. I believe that this constitute a breach of our cellular agreement and therefore will seek to get a cancellation imposed should no assistance be provided within a reasonable time.
