I have received my Netgear Router just a few days after contacting customer support with a problem on my internet connection. And what an experience!!
The call centre guy was very helpful and ran through his over-the-phone diagnostics efficiently and professionally. Unable to find the problem, next was to get Telkom to test the line. Within two days there was a Telkom techie at my house, and I received telephonic status updates by both Telkom and Afrihost.
Realizing in the end it was a router issue, I ordered an identical router via the Afrihost website R700 cheaper than i originally paid, and there was an option to have it preconfigured with my account details. Tonight i simply had to plug and play.
In recent times bad customer service has become somewhat of a norm and customers often get taken for suckers! Afrihost has proven to me it doesn't have to be this way. There were a number times I was tempted by bells and whistles to move over to the other guy. No way! For this kind of service I stay right where i am.
