Vodacom Direct offered me a wireless router with 2 gigs of data for R99.00 a month. I was informed it would be 1 gig during the day and the other gig would be active at night. I received the router on the 12 November. On the 16 November I called customer services as I was struggling to get the router working and needed to confirm if the sim had been activated. In the conversation with customer care it came to light that the 1Gig data at night is only active from midnight to 4am. I was upset as this was not explained when the package was sold to me and I was referred to Sales on 0821950. I spoke to Tholani at 14h20 and explained my grievance and he said if I was unhappy I could cancel the contract as it was within the 7 working days still which I duly asked him to do. When the router had not been collected and I had been billed again I called back and spoke to Jill on 06 Dec reference # 13367437 and explained the whole story again. She assured me the contract was cancelled and the router would be collected 7 working days. It still has not been collected and I am billed every month for a cancelled contract at R119.00 not R99.00. Nobody answers the 0821950 number today 19 Feb.
