NO services from Telkom as usual-incompetent staff

I have been looking into changing my internet service for a while, and after all the radio adds of how great the news adsl deals are with telkom, i decided to go for one of their packages.. WHAT a waste of time!!! they are so quick and efficient to sign you up, with helpfull staff that can actually communicate with a person, but then after 3 weeks of no internet, and 30 phone calls later, holding for hours, and them finding out that the adsl line was still not active (all this after receiving a sms REF:71566243) that the line is active on the 29-01-2013 and the sms notifing me that billing will commence after 7days...
for the next few days we called the enquiries to find out why its still not working (that is where all the incompentent staff works) we still had no answer!! another sms came through (on the 6-02-2013) that we are now being billed.. after numerous calls & eventually speaking to a lady so we could cancel she confirmed the the adsl had been cancelled. We went to Canal walk today to make sure it is all cancelled - with NO luck!! i have had this issue a few years ago where they say its all sorted out, but the bills just keep coming and never ends!! PLEASE HELP!!!
