I opened up a contract with Cell C for the Iphone 5 on the 14 December 2012. They have been out of stock since then and i have been promised on several occasions that stock would be arriving but it never does. I have recieved no communication from them in a month and i keep having to call them for updates. Moreover, everybody has a different excuse and the manager at the Sandton City store was extremely aggressive over the phone today, claimed he had 76 other clients in my position who have been waiting a month for their phones (since the release date of the Iphone 5 in SA) and he did his very best to inconvenience me today by putting restrictions on who could collect the phone when it eventually arrived even though i had been told a month ago that anybody could pick up the phone as long as they had my ID with them as proof.
In addition, 3 weeks after I first signed the documents and made my application a call to the Cell C head office revealed that my application had still not been registered in their system
Endless, false promises, long waits and calls and a month later, still absolutely nothing to show for it.
