In December we took out an ADSL contract with Telkom. Besides numerous problems with the line, they are now charging us double. We phoned them and tried sorting out the problem but the next month its the same thing. Nothing has changed. They tell you that it is sorted but they lie. How can a big company like Telkom rob people and there is no one out there to do anything. Is there a consumer court that I can go to because I cannot afford these payments every month. Their legal dept is quick to list people on ITC but not quick in giving people their money back or sorting out this problem. They even charging me call out fee for their technician. I am still having a problem with the line but no one is sorting it out. I am paying for a service which I am not getting. The line goes off and on all the time and when a technician comes thru he says nothing wrong and goes away. Telkom plz get competent people to work for you in the technician dept and billing dept. I am going to seek a lawyer to sort this problem out as I see I have no option left as I cannot be paying dbl for my 2yr contract. It is absolutely disgusting the way Telkom is handling this problem because I have contacted them.
