So took a contract with MTN, in December last year the contract ended so i made a stop order with my bank. In Jan i received an sms to say that the debit order didn't go through which was understandable so i made an eft same day as the sms. Then 1 Feb i get an sms from my bank saying MTN debit my account (R150.40). My bank told me even though the stop order went through their side MTN uses another method to debit my account. Went to the nearest walk in centre explained the problem, they called 808, I spoke to a lady called Juliet who explained everything and promised me that there was not going to be any more deductions. This morning i get an sms from MTN saying my account is overdue R161.80. So went to nearest walk in centre again explained again, the guy called the account department, then they tell him this amount is back dated to October. How the F... k do you back date when the debit order has been going through every single month. Why was this not mentioned to me the last time i spoke to Juliet. MTN are that wants to take peoples hard earned money for nothing. You better not take this last amount from my account.
