I am bitterly disappointed in the assistance that I have received from Cell C regarding my previous complaints regarding content charges by MIRA networks, Kulaville, and Sprint Media.
Cell C allowed money to be taken from my account without my explicit approval. I provided them with proof that I did not authorise the deductions, but they just passed the buck and refused to assist.
I have repeatedly asked if they can help and have received no response.
Since this type of frraud occurs regularly (just see other complaints regarding "content charges" on hellopeter) Cell C is therefore accessory to frraud and accessory to r0bbing the poor of this country of their hard earned money. There is no way that a poor person, who can barely afford R5 airtime a week, can even try to obtain information regarding his lost money or to try to illicit a refund for the money st0len from his account.
I will regularly lodge hellopeter complaints until Cell C has implemented a double opt-in mechanism preventing such frraud to occur. If you are not familiar with "double opt-in" then ask Vodacom how this is done.
I want Cell C to take ownership of this problem of frraud that I have provided proof of.
