No stock of advertised laptop and bad service

I applied 2 weeks ago, 20 Jan'12, for another contract, 1Gb top up with HP Pavilion M6 at R539pm, on my existing line at a MTN. Heard only a week later, 25 Jan'12, that it was approved and awaiting stock. Thus thought they had ordered and awaiting. Only to hear the next Friday that their supplier does not have stock. That it might take 2-3 weeks to get stock, and they can not phone other branches and help me. WHAT HAPPEN TO CUSTOMER SERVES??? Then told I should try phoning MTN Direct if they can help me... While in the mean time I find out the same deal at MTN has gone up by R40. So I phone MTN Direct and they do not have stock of the HP PAVILLION M6 THEY JUST STARTED ADVERTISING AGAIN!!! Kindly I got told that they can still give it to me at that price seeing as it is still on the system and should try phoning around to see who has stock. I found out Musgrave MTN has 1 in stock and upon ariving got told they can only give it at the new price. How is it that 2 MTN shops that look exactly the same, be completely different stores? Why can they not do IBTs? How can I be expected to pay the increase when I was assured I will get the laptop at that price!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SERVICE!
